1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
and may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you; so that He may establish your hearts without blame in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.
Father, you are holy and pure. Your love is greater than our understanding. We are in need of you.
Lord, I lift up Nick Freathy. Thank you for his heart, his compassion, his love for you. Thank you for his love for people in need and his vision of getting the 18-30 year old adults a vision of outreach to the community.
Give him wisdom on how to impart his vision. Anoint him with your presence. Surround his family. Bless his marriage. Fill him with wisdom in knowing how to be a good husband. Lord, I lift up his wife. Give her patience and understanding. Fill her with confidence that Nick is right where he should be.
I pray for Sanctuary and the Bible study that meets on the other weeks during the month. Bring a group of people who feel that Sanctuary is their ministry. Bring people who feel called in serving together. Build this group in unity and faith. Bring people who are new to the faith and feel pulled to you because of the faithfulness of those serving you in this way.
Bring Nick to pray and let him see you move in lives around him. Bless him with the knowledge that you are in control. Establish his heart with holiness and make him blameless before you.
Teach him how to walk with you every minute of the day.
Lord Jesus – come quickly!
