Psalms 96:6.
Splendor and majesty are before Him,
Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory of His name;
Bring an offering and come into His courts.
We praise you, Father for your splendor and majesty. Strength and beauty are yours. Lord, forgive us for our weakness. We are weak and our souls often have ugliness in them beyond measure. Heal us. Strengthen us. Instill in us your splendor and beauty that we may glorify you!
Lord, I lift up the Stewardship Campaign team. Protect them. Surround them with your presence. Give them wisdom to know how to ascribe glory in your courts. Provide direction to what needs to be done. Give them power in their plans so that your people at SG might bring our offerings into your presence. Cause them to have plans and words that will impart your vision to the people.
Blow through them with a mighty wind and excite them with what you have in store for Sun Grove. Excite them first with the vision of you moving in and among us. Lord, I ask that you make the Capital Campaign team successful, not on their own right – but because you are bringing this about.
Protect the team and give them that endurance that is needed. Help them to not grow weary during the weeks ahead as it will be very busy. Strengthen. Surround their families and help them to know that what the campaign team is doing is for you. Protect their emotions and spiritual life. Draw their families closer to you. Excite them as a family unit to your working.
Protect them from vanity or listening to lies that it is about them. Keep their thoughts captive. Pull them first towards glorifying you. Help the Campaign team to be topmost in being good stewards.
Teach us how to ascribe Glory to you! Teach us to rely on your strength. And teach us to bring our offerings to you in the presence of the family of SG.
In your GLORIOUS name,
amen
