Psalms 84 :1-2
How lovely are Your dwelling places,
O LORD of hosts!
My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God.

How lovely are your dwelling places LORD! How I long to be in your presence. Thank you that you promise where two or more gather together that you are there with them. Thank you that you don’t require a building but that we can worship you where ever we are. Forgive us for not worshiping you with our very self as we should. Teach us to praise you on a daily basis.

Father, thank you for Mike and the worship arts ministry. I think of how the musicians in the Old Testament were asked to go in front during battle because they brought courage to the people. Thank you for the way Mike and the musicians at SG care about encouraging those in the church to come to you with their whole heart.

Anoint the musicians so that the music will speak to hearts in a way words never could. Anoint those doing the arts and drama that hearts might be moved because of your faithfulness.

Thank you for Mike and his family. Touch his marriage and protect it. Teach him how to be a great father and husband. Cause his family to be drawn to worship you because they follow his heart.

Protect the families and the relationships of those on the worship arts team. Teach them that worship is everyday and not just using that one special talent, but it is given all their talents to you daily. Give them eyes to see that you move around them when they are obedient to you because worship is “all about you, Jesus”.

Give Mike holy wisdom to know how to bring people into your presence – not just during a service but any time.

Lift him up in you and give him joy in all he does.

Thank you for that special joy that only you can bring.
In Christ’s name,
Amen
