Psalm 104:20-24
You appoint darkness and it becomes night,
In which all the beasts of the forest prowl about.
The young lions roar after their prey
And seek their food from God.
When the sun rises they withdraw
And lie down in their dens.
Man goes forth to his work
And to his labor until evening.
O LORD, how many are Your works!
In wisdom You have made them all;
The earth is full of Your possessions.

Father, I praise you with all creation. The sun and moon keep their places because of you. You provide for the creatures of the sea, the wild night creatures, all creatures. You provide day time and night time. How many are your works!

Thank you for the men’s ministry at Sun Grove. Thank you for Jon S and his concern of the men. I ask that you might give him wisdom in the ministry activities and retreat that is coming up. So often there is a pull to not allow men to be manly. Provide a place where the men of SG can be themselves and yet they are encouraged to be men of God.

Place a spirit of unity and peace on the Men’s retreat. Cause the men that go to be refreshed and built up in you. Give those that need a place to vent or express their worries to be able to do so. Give those that need to be challenged to be so. Give those that need quiet and rest to find that also.

I lift up Jon S. Protect him in his relationships. Cause his personal life to honor you. Supply his needs. Teach him how to be organized so that he can accomplish the vision that you’ve given him to build up the men at SG as well as what ever else he may need to do.

Teach the men of Sun Grove that you are the Supplier of all good things. Teach them to depend on you.

In Jesus name,
Amen
