Exodus 35:21-22
Everyone whose heart stirred him and everyone whose spirit moved him came and brought the LORD'S contribution for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service and for the holy garments.
Then all whose hearts moved them, both men and women, came and brought brooches and earrings and signet rings and bracelets, all articles of gold; so did every man who presented an offering of gold to the LORD.
Lord, I praise you for the way that you speak to our hearts and for the way you stir your people to righteousness. Forgive us, Father for the times you stir and we rebel. Forgive our stubborn hearts that turn away from your leading. Teach us to listen to you and obey.
Lord, thank you for Donna. Thank you for her perkiness and graciousness. Thank you for the business sense that you’ve given her as well. Protect her, surround her with your love. Surround her family. Cause them to call her ‘blessed’ because of her faithfulness to you. Help her boys to call you, “Lord” in all parts of their lives. Keep her marriage strong. Supply strength and supply her health needs.
I pray for Donna as she leads the community events. Give her wisdom to know when an event is something that you want us to be involved in or not. Be with her and the other leaders as they build bridges in the community.
I especially pray for Donna as she leads the Capital Campaign. Give her wisdom to lay out the plans for it.
Be with all those that are building bridges in the community and preparing the way for the church to be developed – provide them with the strength and compelling speech so that you will be glorified. Put a desire to see the church grow and the property to be developed in to the heart of the community and civic leaders. Prepare the way so that the plans you have might unfold.
I praise you, Father for all that you are going to do in the life of Sun Grove!
