Isaiah 57:19
Creating the praise of the lips.
Peace, peace to him who is far and to him who is near,"
Says the LORD, "and I will heal him."

Thank you, Father for your peace. Thank you for that peace that dwells in the hearts of people that know you, who know you are near to them. Thank you for your healing touch.
Forgive us for the times that we reject your peace – when we harbor bitterness and hate in our hearts. Bring us your peace! Our hearts yearn for it.

Thank you, Lord for our friends in Lebannon. Thank you that they have your peace in their hearts. I ask you for their protection. Anoint them so that they can live peaceful lives in an area where there is little peace. Put a hedge around them so that only those that you are calling to yourselves are aware of your gospel. Cause their enemies to be blind to your moving. Cause those that would do them harm to see ‘nice’ people and want to be at peace with them.

I do ask that you call those around them to you. Work in lives in the Beirut area. Open hearts to the gospel and to your love. Let B and J see your hand in those around them and feel the freedom to share you where they need to.

Again, I praise you because you are the God of all peace. Thank you for the peace that passes all understanding that you give freely to those that believe in you.

In Christ’s name,
Amen
