Psalms 35 :13.
But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth;
I humbled my soul with fasting,
And my prayer kept returning to my bosom.

Father, you are Holy and wise and good. You love us so much.

Lord, you care so deeply for the lost and the needy. You care so much for me that you willing died on the cross. Teach us to care as you do.

Thank you, Father for the compassion ministries at SG. Thank you for the leaders that truly love as you do. Give them wisdom in leadership. Provide teachers for the classes. Give the leaders patience and wisdom as needed.

Give them a joy in well doing. Open hearts to reach out to the needy in our church. Protect their families. Give them wisdom in their relationships.

Use the various compassion ministries to bring people caught in sickness, in addictions, in painful situations salvation. Lord, people need your salvation of their souls, but often they need salvation from their situations. Situations that only you can cure. Touch their lives and their hearts. Give those in need of the compassion ministry contentment and self control. Most of all teach them to trust in you.

Bless the compassion ministries with your healing touch.
