Romans 13:6.
For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
Thank you, God for providing us with neighbors. Thank you for the neighbors that believe in you and for those that don’t believe. Thank you that you provide for us and we would not be able to live without you.
Father, I lift up our neighbors before you. Bring a spirit of peace to our communities. Open their hearts to you. Make us your ambassadors to bring reconciliation with the God of the universe to their doorsteps.
Most of all draw them to yourself. Give us opportunities to be Christ in their lives; opportunities to pray for them, to bring them food, and to be their friends.
I ask this because you are our true friend,
