James 1:5-6
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
To you o’ wise one do we come seeking you. We acknowledge our lack of wisdom. We acknowledge our need for you. Provide for us the faith we need to ask of you. Open our eyes to see your moving in our midst.
Lord, I lift up the prayer team. Help this ministry grow. Be with John as he teaches the class on prayer – open the hearts of Sun Grove to desire your presence. Cause us to want to seek you. Teach us to listen. Give the members of the prayer team wisdom to know how to encourage prayer. Guide them as they seek your face.
Open our eyes to see the wonderful things that you are doing around us.
In your precious name,
amen
