James 1:5-6
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.

Thank you for the wisdom that comes when we trust in you and listen to you – because you give generously to those that trust in you. Forgive us for our lack of faith. Build our faith. Help us to be rooted and grounded in your love.

Thank you, Lord for Marty. Thank you for his love for you and for your people. Give him guidance and wisdom as he works to build community life. Give him wisdom in how to grow people who are able to grow other people. Give him the strength that he needs to keep up with his work and his family. Give him wisdom in how he spends his time.

Father, I ask that you build his faith. Give him specific prayers that he trusts only to you. Then answer his prayers to that he will learn to know how you truly love to work in his life as well as others.
In Jesus Name,
amen
