Psalms 15 :1-2
O LORD, who may abide in Your tent?
Who may dwell on Your holy hill?
He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness,
And speaks truth in his heart.
I praise you, Father for your holiness. Your works of righteousness are displayed whereever we look! Thank you for the way that you love us, when we walk with you and live righteously and you love us enough that you died for - us the ungodly.
Forgive us for not caring about being righteous. Forgive us for our lack of holiness. Forgive us for our lack of seeking after you – for the times we want our own way and not yours. Teach us your holiness. Heal us so that we will want to seek right things. We want to live with you – not just in heaven but right where we are now. We want you in the center of our lives.
Lord, I lift up Becky and the office staff . Thank you for Becky and her care to follow you in all that she does. Thank you for all the staff’s willingness to work in the front lines supporting our pastoral staff. Thank you for their faithfulness to you on a daily basis.
Put a hedge about them and their families. Lord, you know their needs: family needs, financial, health needs. I ask that you be with them and supply those needs.
Give them the ability to listen to you and to be obedient to you in everything that they do. Help them to speak with words from you. Teach them to listen for your words and ideas. Teach them to hold their tongues when you don’t want them to speak. Give them wisdom in the details needed to run the church office.
I ask for your spirit of PEACE to be on the office and it’s staff. Lord, help people who come to visit the office feel your presence because of their faithfulness.
Thank you again for these sweet people who really give their lives to you and to SG on a daily basis. Anoint them with your holiness and bless them.
In Jesus name,
amen
